There’s no more mystery about it – Jurassic Island has been discovered and it’s all you’ve ever imagined. Dinosaurs are the dominant species on the island, and there is no match for the big reptiles.
Only one representative of the human race is located on the island, a determined hunter who wants to reestablish human dominion over misplaced, oversized beasts from the past.
The game structure involves 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 nonadjustable paying lines, and there is a bunch of special features you would expect just as much you’d expect to see a living dinosaur!
What We Love
Jurassic Island has its ups and downs, and the slot’s strong side is most certainly the bonus features department. There are four bonus rounds and additional elements within features like expanding Wilds, stacked Wilds and multipliers. But the whole ordeal is by no means chaotic or complicated; it all makes sense when the reels stop spinning. You can get 40 free spins with a bit of luck, or triple the max payout and cash out a 3000 coins worth a prize.
The game has a satisfactory return to player rate of 96.53%, so no complains there. As for the theme of the game, some elements are contributing to a positive impression, and some are dragging the game down.
For instance, dinosaurs are always a thrilling theme to explore, both attractive and popular. So, we acknowledge that to be a good move from Ash Gaming. But there are a couple of missed targets there, and we’ll deal with them in the next section.
What We Do Not Like
Continuing our debate about Jurassic Island slot theme, we can’t help but notice how it all appears like an unfinished business. Sure, the intention was there, but the graphics did not deliver. It’s a pity, because this might be the only thing missing to make Jurassic Island a great slot machine, and not just quite good.
The design isn’t all that bad either, but it was just poorly brought to reality. Also, developers should have done something to alter the control panel so it would fit better to the theme.
Another thing that draws attention, but causes a negative impression, is the reduced betting range. Apparently, you can place a minimum bet of $0.25 but you can’t go any higher than $125.
High rollers won’t appreciate this, and payouts of 1000 coins or more don’t seem much of a reward if you have serious financial goals to achieve while playing Jurassic Island.
As we’ve stated earlier in the text, Jurassic Island online slot has a fair number of advantages, but also has a few downsides to it. If you value game visuals then you’ll probably prefer a dinosaur-themed slot from Microgaming, called Jurassic Park.
But if you don’t judge a slot by its appearance necessarily, you can surely enjoy a number of spins at Jurassic Island, especially if you get lucky enough to trigger the many bonus rounds.
